In the heart of Scott’s Addition, the band assembled with their favorite producer/engineer/mix/master Josh Scolaro (aided and abetted by Stewart Myers) to record the tracks for their next record. Formerly known as Montana Studios, Scott’s Addition Studios has a great vibe and Josh and Stewart captured that vibe. Four originals and a cover on this EP. Heartache, love, loneliness and joy...sometimes on the same song (check our first two records if you want sad songs about trains).

Third Rail is an RVA band (Richmond, Virginia if you're wondering) with multi-part vocal harmonies and an all acoustic instrumentation. "Personality" is the title of the EP as well as the lead track and features clever wordplay above the brisk beats. "It Takes A Lot" is a beauty that can only come from living with sadness and believing in redemptive power of love. Drummer Tom recommended Simon & Garfunkel's "The Only Living Boy in New York"...maybe because the lyric features his name. With the "Day You Were Born", the band celebrates the memories of starting families - life changes a bit, eh?. The EP ends with the passionate and mysterious "You and Me Now" (calling all TV/Film producers who need something sultry and moody).
